For the aforementioned awards, which are available in UK universities and other higher education institutions, applications are being accepted from qualified candidates. The prizes are meant for Ghanaian men and women with exceptional intellectual promise who, upon their return from their studies, would be counted on to significantly contribute to the country’s overall development goals.

  • Candidates must have first- or second-class upper-level standing.
  • Candidates must be under 45 years of age.
  • Admission to a British university is required for applicants.
  • Applications from women are especially encouraged.

All applicants must submit their applications under one of the six development-related themes that the scholarships are provided under.

APPLICATION MODE

1. By October 18, 2022, interested applicants must apply using the CSC online application system and send their materials to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK.

2.At a specified interview date that will be shared with qualified and eligible candidates, applicants must explicitly indicate the proposed topic of study and present original certificates.

3. To support their applications, medical personnel in the public sector should receive official approval from the Director of Manpower, Ministry of Health.

4. Candidates who are currently employed by government agencies or other organizations that provide public services must submit their applications through the head of such agencies.

SUBMISSION

The application must be printed out and submitted in physical copy along with the supporting materials listed below, along with a formal letter written to the Registrar of Scholarships.
